  1. ■  If your sound card is BOTH SoundBlaster and Windows Sound
  2.    System compatible such as the Ensoniq Soundscape, Reveal
  3.    sound cards, and lots of others, we recommend that you use
  4.    one of the Windows Sound System drivers. Most likely, mixer
  5.    support will be present only in Windows Sound System mode.
  6.    You may need to specifically select Windows Sound System
  7.    mode using a utility provided with your sound card. Consult
  8.    your sound card manual for more information. If you decide
  9.    to use one of the SoundBlaster drivers, see next note below.
  10.  
  11. ■  If your sound card isn't a true SoundBlaster but it is
  12.    SoundBlaster compatible and you select one of the SoundBlaster
  13.    drivers, the mixer device may not work. (Some SoundBlaster
  14.    compatible cards have a unique mixer.) If this is the case,
  15.    you'll need to use the mixer program that came with your sound
  16.    card for adjusting volume levels. (Windows 95 users can use
  17.    the Multimedia / Volume Control program.) Before executing
  18.    SuperSonic, be sure to set recording volume levels for the Cd,
  19.    External, and Microphone channels at their maximum setting so
  20.    that SuperSonic can record/monitor these audio sources. Also,
  21.    be sure to select one or more of these channels for recording
  22.    mode. (Windows 95 users can run the Volume Control program
  23.    located in the Multimedia menu. Select Properties from the
  24.    Options menu. Select Adjust Volume for Recording and press
  25.    OK. Click on Select for the Cd, External, and Microphone
  26.    channels and set their levels at maximum.)

  28. ■  Windows 3.x users must exit Windows before running SuperSonic.
  29.  
  30. ■  Windows 95 users, please note: You shouldn't experience any
  31.    problems when executing SuperSonic from Windows 95. However,
  32.    if you do, try restarting your computer in DOS mode and then
  33.    executing SuperSonic. This may help you isolate the problem.

  35. ■  SuperSonic has context sensitive help! Press and HOLD DOWN
  36.    the right mouse button on any button/slider/display and
  37.    detailed information will display until you RELEASE the
  38.    right mouse button.

  40. ■  All of SuperSonic's support programs also include context
  41.    sensitive help. Press F1 at any time and you'll get detailed
  42.    information about the currently selected option.
  43.  
  44. ■  Before using the disc jockey system, we highly recommend that
  45.    you read sections "4-0 Setting Up Hardware", "7-9 Disc Jockey"
  46.    and "7-10 Disc Jockey Manual Switcher" of the manual. Please
  47.    also consult the manual for additional information about
  48.    using SuperSonic and its many features.
